You write each message and choose which fields fill it in. A few ideas:
Your app has to send the customer’s phone number in the webhook. Most booking and form tools include it when you ask for a phone field.
Click the fields. Write the message.
Send a test from your app and everything it sent is listed in your portal. Click the phone number field, click a name into your message, and set when it should send.
Live in four steps
Create
In your KiwiTxt portal open Tools and click Connect on Custom webhook. You get a private URL.
Paste it
Add that URL to your app’s webhook settings (or a Make step) and send a test.
Click the fields
The fields your app sent appear in the portal. Click to choose the phone number and drop names or times into the message.
Set when it sends
Every request, or only when a field matches (a booking created, a payment succeeded). Up to 10 messages per webhook.
Send only when it matters
Conditions like “type equals booking.created” or “status contains paid” decide which requests text.
Never twice
Pick the field that identifies an event, and a resent event is never texted again.
Private link, optional secret
The link is unguessable. Apps that can add headers can also be required to send a secret or a signature.

Which apps work?
Anything that can POST JSON or form data to a URL: Calendly, Cal.com, Typeform, Jotform, Square, Wix automations, HubSpot workflows, Make, and your own software. For Zapier, use the KiwiTxt app on Zapier instead.
Do I need to write code?
No. Send a test from your app, then click the fields you want in the portal.
What if a field is missing?
Missing values are left out of the message rather than showing as a blank tag, and requests without a phone number are skipped and logged.
Is there a limit?
Up to 10 custom webhooks per account, each with up to 10 messages.
