Texts sent from Zapier are charged like any other text. Include the country code in phone numbers (for example +64 or +1) so every text reaches the right country.

Setup

Live in four steps

  1. Create an API key

    In your KiwiTxt portal open Tools, choose Zapier and click Create API key.

  2. Add KiwiTxt in Zapier

    Click Open KiwiTxt on Zapier (or pick KiwiTxt when you create a Zap) and paste your API key when Zapier asks you to sign in.

  3. Pick a trigger or action

    Send SMS, create or update a contact, find a contact, or start a Zap on a new reply, a sent message or a new contact.

  4. Test and turn it on

    Map the phone number and message, send yourself a test, and switch the Zap on.

Replies go where you work

Every customer reply can start a Zap straight away: post it to Slack, log it in your CRM or add it to a sheet.

Contacts stay in sync

Only workspace admins can create keys. Revoke one in the portal and its Zaps stop at once.

What can the KiwiTxt Zapier app do?

Do I need a paid Zapier plan?

Zapier has its own plans and limits, including a free plan. You need a KiwiTxt subscription as well.

How fast do replies reach my Zap?

KiwiTxt sends each reply to Zapier as soon as it arrives, usually within a minute. If Zapier is briefly unavailable, it is retried.

Who can connect Zapier?

Workspace admins. An API key acts for the whole workspace, so team members with the agent role cannot see or create keys.
